Water-resistant Wickedleak Wammy Interest X with octa-core processer released for Rs 22,500

Wickedleak, the Mumbai-based smart phone, has released a new smart phone in its Interest sequence. The Wickedleak Wammy Interest X will be available for Rs 22,500 and its USP is water-resistance.

Wickedleak says it has used AquaProtect technology to make the phone hydrophobic. The phone can come in contact with h2o for up to 30 minutes. It must be mentioned that this does not have the IP57 or IP67 documentation that water resistant mobile phones from Sony and Samsung have. In addition, the Interest X is also one of the first octa-core mobile phones to hit the market. It is operated by a MediaTek (MTK6592) processer which is 1.7GHz.

Up front side is a 5-inch full-HD IPS show with a 1080×1920 pixel quality, converting to a pixel solidity of 443ppi, and One Glass Solution (OGS) has been used for production the show. It comes with a healthy 2GB of RAM and contains 16GB of integrated storage space, along with assistance for microSD cards (up to 64GB). It operates Android system 4.2 out-of-the-box, but there is no word on any OS up-dates for this phone. The Interest X is a dual-SIM (GSM-GSM)phone with double stand by assistance.

It also gets a high-end 13-megapixel primary camera that features a LED display and BSI indicator. On the top side is a 5-megapixel shooting, which is a something we are seeing in a lot of high-end Native indian mobile phones. There is Wireless, Wi-Fi, GPS, AGPS, EDGE, GPRS and 3G for connection and a rather frustrating 2500mAh battery power, considering the other specifications.
