Flappy Bird imitations now being refused by Apple, Google

The elimination of the unique Flappy Bird from app stores was met with player dislike and the unavoidable trend of imitations to complete the large gap remaining by the experience. And there have be many, so many actually, that both Apple and Google have taken observe and began rejecting them.

If there happens to be Flappy Bird replicated you really love enjoying, take it easy, it is not going to vanish. It’s only new distribution that are being ceased from attaining your system. Apple’s reason for rejecting such applications is that they “leverage a well-known app.” Google is being much more to the factor, though. Anyone generating a Flappy Fowl replicated now is developing “spam” and needs to quit.

Some designers have been disappointed by the denials, declaring you cannot make use of a well-known app that is not available to obtain and perform. That is a great thing, but one that’s unlikely to get Apple or Google to modify their thoughts. Both app Stores have more than enough Flappy Bird-like activities to last players a life-time.

There’s also a query brought up about where you attract the range when it comes to rejecting/accepting a new game that’s just like Flappy Bird. How are the app evaluation groups evaluating the games? Is it techniques, use of identical figures, art style? There is so many ways a sport could be just like the unique that it types a bit of a minefield for designers.

One thing I would be fascinated to see is Dong Nguyen modifying his mind and trying to get the unique back on app stores. Would Apple and Google decline his distribution now? What if he tried to launch a Flappy Bird 2? He is the unique designer, but I do not think that assures he’d get a free successfully pass any longer due to all this replicated bombarding.
