More signs that Apple A8 chip manufacturing is approaching

Apple may be getting nearer to production of its A8 processor chip as details from Asia points to Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing (TSMC) as the primary provider.

Taiwan-based TechNews (via MacRumors) revealed that TSMC has already began production of Apple's next-generation A8 processor chip.

That review jibes with a resource who CNET talked to Dec. That person, who is acquainted with TSMC's programs, said that Taiwanese agreement processor chip producer had already began making Apple's A sequence processor chip snacks. Up to now, New samsung has been the only producer of Apple's processor chip snacks.

The CNET resource said at that time that TSMC is in the procedure of becoming the primary producer of Apple's processor chip snacks -- that presumably could consist of the A8, though the resource did not specify this.

But TechNews requires this a phase further, declaring that TSMC is the only producer of the A8 because of the achievements it is having with the newest 20-nanometer production procedure.

On Weekend, Specialist Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Investments throw question on Apple's capability -- or desire -- to renew the iPad mini Retina in a big way in 2014. He also stated that the said "iPad Pro" may be forced into 2015.

If real, the A8 could appear in an modified iPad Air and an predicted iPhone renew.

It should be mentioned that securing down specified details about which chipmaker is going to create which processor chip for which client is always challenging as processor chip production details are increasingly protected by both the maker and the client.

And chipmakers usually run into production issues. For example, TSMC had been said to create Apple snacks in the last but fought with production issues. There were also gossips of arguments with Apple.
