Samsung said to have fingerprint-scanning touchscreen in the works

Apple went with the home button, while HTC placed it on the back, but it looks like Samsung may just one-up its competitors when it comes to a fingerprint scanner. According to the The philipines Usher in, the globe's leading smart phone manufacturer will put the fingerprint scanner right on the display to learn effectively for users to use it.

The receptors will allegedly be placed on the end remaining and right sides of the touchscreen display in future mobile phones, which could include the Galaxy S5, widely predicted to be declared this month at MWC. “The finger-scanning technology will be available on the end remaining and right sides, and not the entire display,” Korea Herald said.

The receptors will only be employed on the sides to save cost, while later in the year, we can expect Samsung mobile phones where the whole touchscreen display could perform as the hand marks checking device, the report says. The Korea Herald’s source said that the full-screen hand marks checking device execution does not perform very well yet. New samsung is predicted to use data gathered by the indicator for health applications which are said to be the focus of Samsung’s future software experience.

Samsung’s hand marks checking plans have come in the awaken of increased dependency on fingerprint methods to improve security. We had heard that Samsung had earlier organized an iris-scanning feature for the same, but cast off it for a hand marks checking device.
