Sony’s iPad Air killer: Xperia Product Z2 with 6.4mm slim body, Snapdragon 800 leaks

Looks like Apple’s iPad Air is soon about to have some lots of competitors, at least when it comes to the ‘Air’ name. Sony is stated to be preparing a 10.1-inch follow-up to its Xperia tablet Z, that is said to be even slimmer than the Air and come packaging some heavy-duty internals.

Specs of several, which is predicted to be exposed at the Mobile Globe The legislature next 7 days, were released by none other than @evleaks, who features one of the best information in this respect.

While there was no image to go along with the specifications, we anticipate the tablet Z2 or whatever name it requires at release will not be too much of a leaving from the tried-and-tested Sony style. This one too will be water resistant and dustproof, just like the preliminary tablet Z, which is still one of the classiest looking tablets. The emphasize of the style will be the 6.4mm slim whole body, which appears to be quite incredible. In evaluation, the iPad Air actions 7.5 mm in width.

The specifications of the Xperia Z2 tablet are very much top-of-the-line. It will get a 10.1-inch Complete HD (1920 x 1200 pixels) WUXGA show and would be operated by a 2.3 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processer with Adreno 330 GPU. That’s some high quality internals and the 3GB of RAM should only add to the horse power. It will also run the newest edition of Android system i.e 4.4.2 KitKat with some customisations from Sony.

Sony is not going over on the camcorders on this tablet. There is apparently an 8MP camera on the returning and a 2MP front-facing shooting. It will have inner storage space of 16GB along with a microSD cards port. Finally, the Xperia Z2 will have a fairly large 6000 mAh battery power, that should be excellent enough to create best use of the components.
