Meizu makes high-end mobile phones marketed in China, Hong Kong, Israel, Russian federation, and the Ukraine, while bq delivered 1.5 million mobile phones in 2013 and is Spain's "second greatest supplier of revealed  mobile phones," according to Canonical.

"Ubuntu's user-friendly and creatively amazing user interface adjusts with our own ethos of generating simple, impressive mobile encounters. This collaboration gives us an opportunity to create a truly different and powerful providing that will support our way to provide gadgets to both China as well as worldwide," Meizu professional Li Nan said in a declaration.

Canonical said suppliers and companies assisting the Ie8 smartphone system include several big titles on its 16-member Service provider Advisory Team such as United kingdom, EE, T-Mobile USA, Three Team, Deutsche Telekom, Verizon, Telstra, and People from france Telecommunications.
