LG to release G Fold curved smartphone in India today

Lastly, we may see LG releasing the G Bend “curved” device in Indian today. While the encourage to LG’s media briefing did not discuss which gadgets will be released, it’s more than obvious when you see the arcs above and below the title.

The G Bend was originally released for the South Korean market and is only the second phone to have a rounded show board. Apart from the LG Bend, Samsung has its edition of a rounded device in the form of the Galaxy Mobile. Click here to read our specifications evaluation of both gadgets.

The style is straight focused as the cellphone is rounded on the horizontally axis. According to LG, the style decreases the range between person's oral cavity and mic when the Bend is organised against the ear. The LG G Bend is operated by a 2.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processer along with 2GB of RAM. On the digicam front side, the G Bend comes with a 13-megapixel back digicam and a 2.1-megapixel front-facing digicam. It features in a 3,500 mAh battery power and operates on Android system 4.2.2.

One of the features of the device is the “self healing” safety movie for the returning board. LG statements that the phone can cure itself against minimal scrapes and lumps. The special safety movie on the returning cover will ensure that the hair line scrapes vanish within minutes.

LG has also added a variety of features that take advantage of the rounded screen. A function called QTheater allows customers quickly access images, video clips and YouTube straight from the lockscreen just by pulling in an outward direction along the rounded area with both fingertips. It makes a cinema layer effect before presenting the video. The cellphone also comes with a “dual window” method that allows customers to multi-task better and also a “swing-lock screen” that keeps modifying the device’s wallpapers based on how the phone is organised in users’ hands.
