Prescribed contacts for Google Glass are coming, starting at $99

One of the greatest problems with Look for google glass if you already use prescribed contacts is about to be settled thanks to Rochester Visual and Look for Google.

When Look for Google glass was initially declared, we were informed that there would be a remedy at some factor for customers who already use Glass. Some customers went searching for their own alternatives, while other with patience waited with patience for Look for Google to provide. Since that factor, we’ve seen a few ideas flow out of Hill perspective that help display the improvement they have created.

At one factor, it seemed almost as though 3D-printed supports would be an choice at some factor, but the idea slimmed down and exposed that a new edition of Look for Google glass would be required. This edition would help you to substitute the titanium nasal area link with a structure that could have prescribed contacts installed on them, but it looks like Rochester Visual has something else in thoughts.

While Google’s structure substitute model looks appealing, it would include eliminating the group that is already there and changing it completely. This group is already customized fixed to the experience of the person wearing them to be able for Glass to sit effectively, so why not just create something that segments in like the eyewear and the breeze protect that initially came with Glass? Obviously that is what Rochester Visual has in thoughts, and they will be using this same style to launch a sequence of designs that customers will be able to just position proscription contacts into. There are no images of the designs yet, but Rochester’s Tim Moore temporarily described that there will be several choices available.

We can anticipate to listen to more on accessibility just after CES, but it looks like these supports are going to begin at $99. This is likely to be a lesser amount of costly than Google’s substitute supports, especially given the present costs for their Glass components. As more and more customers become aspect of the Traveler system, these third celebration components will keep be a well-known substitute to Google’s promotions.

Alternatively, these video in supports could come to be less than eye-catching and it will cause customers to head to Look for Glass for genuine. Only time will tell, but at least customers with prescribed eyeware are lastly getting have fun with Glass.
