Entry-level Micromax Funbook P280 tablet available now for Rs 4,650

Micromax has silently released a new Android system product and this one rests in the entry-level section. The Funbook P280 is now available online for Rs. 4,650 and as you can probably think from the cost, there is nothing especially appealing about this product.

There’s some misunderstandings as to the actual specifications. What is clear is the Funbook P280 operates Android system 4.2 jelly bean, but there is some quality needed on the processer used. The record on Snapdeal says it’s operated by a 1GHz dual-core processer and has 512MB of RAM, but the formal Micromax website says it’s an All Champion A13 single-core ARM Cortex A8 processer which is 1GHz. The latter does seem more likely considering the cost.

There’s a 7-inch capacitive show on the P280 with a 800×480 pixel quality. Do not anticipate to be capturing great images as there is only a 0.3MP camera on the front and none on the back. Inner storage space is assigned at 4GB with option for extended storage space up to 32GB via microSD bank cards.

You’ll find a full-sized USB slot to link data dongles, Wireless and Wi-Fi connection. Disappointingly there is only a 2400 mAh battery power within. We have seen mobile phones with bigger features within. Micromax says it’s good for 250 hours of stand by time. Just like the Fabric mobile phones, the product comes pre installed with various apps including Spuul, Opera Mini, kingsoft Office, M!Live.
