Press the OS change key on the Duet’s key pad docking station or tap the app on the touchscreen show and it takes less than 5 a few moments to make the leap.
Both OSes should run like an overall desire, too, thanks to the Duet’s Apple Primary processor — Primary i3, i5, and i7 designs will be provided. The Duet also features an SSD (up to 128GB) inside the product (with small SD expansion) and a full 4GB of RAM. Blazing-fast 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 come as conventional.
The key pad docking station provides room for lots of useful add-ons. There happens to be huge 1TB hard disk for prolonged space for storage, and information saved on it are available to both Ms windows and Android system. Asus has also involved an HDMI outcome, USB 3.0 and 2.0 slots, and an Ethernet slot.
Strangely, it’s detailed as 10/100 in the Asus news launch. Gigabit would have been nice on a machine that — considering it delivers with an i7 processor — is clearly targeted at more challenging customers. Let us wish that someone in the marketing division just skipped the /1000 when they composed the discharge.
Then there is the issue of dimension. The Transformer Guide Duet’s 13.3-inch 1080p show is stunning, and it’s a fantastic dimension for a laptop. For a Ms windows or Android system product, however, it’s big enough that you will not want to hold it one-handed for long times.
That large screen and Primary processor do get rid of through battery power pack a bit faster than you might like on a product. Asus reports that the Duet can run for about five hours in Ms windows, which is about what the unique Area Pro could handle. Folks were not too stunned at that, but, hey… at least you can press out another hour on the Duet by tossing to Android system.
