Geeksphone shows more about its dual-boot Android/Firefox OS phone, the Revolution

At the end of Nov, Geeksphone taunted the forth-coming launch of a new phone, known as the Trend. Why the impressive name? It was not obvious, but a review at plenty of time recommended the product would run both Android program and Chrome OS. Now we have our response, and the Trend does indeed allow you to pick which OS you use when it begins up.

The better information on how this will continue to perform are still a secret, with Geeksphone’s blurb only saying its, “MultiOS technological innovation allows you to select your os. Beginning with Google Android program, you can easily change to Boot2Gecko by Mozilla, or any other community-supported OS.” It then contributes that once you select, Geeksphone will “Keep you modified thanks to a 1-click over-the-air program.”

It’s a really exciting undertaking, particularly for designers, but our beginning encounter with OS was not a enjoyable one, and we cannot suggest it for daily use just yet. Android program, of course, is excellent, but Geeksphone does not say which edition it will set up. If you are thinking why Geeksphone phone Chrome Boot2Gecko, it’s a lawful issue with it using the Chrome name without system acceptance, but it’s basically the same application.

The double os is not the only exciting factor about the Trend either. The phone uses a dual-core 1.6GHz Apple Z2560 processor chip, and not a Qualcomm or Nvidia processor chip, which would be more typical. The processor chip, also known as the Clover Trail+, is signed up with by 1GB of RAM, 4GB of storage space, and a MicroSD cards port. The Revolution’s display actions 4.7-inches and has a 960 x 540 pixel quality, plus the phone has an 8-megapixel digicam, and 3G connection.

Geeksphone has not said when the Trend will go for selling, or how much it will price, but we desire to understand these information, and more about its uncommon dual-boot settings, at mobile Globe The legislature in Feb.
