Nokia’s benefits system for Windows Phone developers uses gamification model

Lots of mobile companies offer advantages to designers who make programs on their systems. But Nokia’s new DVLUP program is a little different, using a gamification design that encourages opponents among Windows Mobile phone designers.

What’s particularly interesting about DVLUP is that it provides a opportunity for designers to increase the visibility of their programs within the Windows Mobile phone Store by effective aspects. Those aspects can be obtained via assessments and complications relevant to Windows Mobile phone app growth.

Developers have the option to return the aspects either for promotion and distribution assistance described above — a week’s worth of “Spotlight” placement in the Windows Mobile phone Store or Nokia’s App Social, for example — or they can win products like gadgets, equipment and on the net.

Nokia said it plans to offer other promotion opportunities like placement in TV, make and digital placement techniques.

DVLUP is also exclusive in that it allows Windows Mobile phone designers to make, book, and manage their own app promotion and promotion techniques. The advantages program, which has been in try out for about a year, is free and available in more than 20 countries. Associates can be a part of with a Windows Live ID.
